New member at Furness RAM

Worshipful Commander John Torrance welcomed Pat Moss as the latest recruit to Furness Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No 375.
Peter Quirk, Peter Hampson, John Torrance, Pat Moss and Alan Jones
In the meeting at Ulverston Masonic Hall John was assisted in delivering the work by Peter Hampson who explained the signs of the order and Alan Jones who undertook the explanation of the working tools.
Ulverston resident Pat is a member of Jubilee Mark Lodge No 375. He had been proposed as a candidate for elevation into the order by Peter Quirk and that proposal had been seconded by Peter Hampson.
On the evening it was a great delight to see organist, and present Worshipful Commander of Philadelphia of Installed RAM Commanders No 1646, Geoff Waters in attendance. Geoff has, for some months, been receiving ongoing intensive treatment for a medical problem which has curtailed the activities of this normally very busy Mason. It was not only pleasing to see Geoff fit enough to attend the meeting but also to hear that he has been offered, and accepted, promotion to Prov.R.A.M.G.R.
Special representative Stuart Brackstone congratulating Geoff Waters on his promotion
A further proposition of a candidate for elevation was made on the night so John and the members of Furness RAM should be usefully employed at the next meeting.
